NEW
City Retreat Edition: Mexico City & Puebla
May 30 – June 4, 2024
You lovely ladies have been asking if we would ever host a retreat to other countries. While Guatemala and our Mayan women partners will always be the main community and destination, we have a long history with Mexico, too. We have worked together in women’s health efforts throughout the years, in Chiapas particularly, taking groups of women volunteers to serve our vulnerable sisters and have formed friendships and relationships from there and all parts of the country. Just like Guatemala, Mexico has a rich history, sociopolitical issues, poignant art, and beautiful architecture that we are honored to share. We have decided to offer a smaller, more exclusive yoga retreat to Mexico City for just 8 Muslim women where we will have:
❁ Daily private yoga
❁ Included accommodation in Polanco, a beautiful safe neighborhood of Mexico City
❁ A whole-food plant-based meal plan to reset digestive system
❁ All transportation (flights not included)
❁ Daily juicing
❁ A daytrip to the picturesque and historic Puebla
❁ Lavender Garden visit in Puebla
❁ A traditional Mexican cooking workshop
❁ A photography tour through the most photogenic spots in Mexico City and Puebla
❁ Individualized photo-shoots throughout the week
❁ A historical Mexico City walking tour
❁ Exploring the best markets in Mexico City
❁ Visits to several top-rated Mexico City restaurants
❁ A historical Mexico City walking tour by a local female guide
❁ Exploring the best markets and shopping in Mexico City and Puebla, both local and commercial
❁ Coffee and chat with Mexican Muslim revert women
❁ Admissions to the top Museums, Castle, and the Frida Kahlo House
